Asics Men's Gel Evolution 5 (2E) Running Shoe White/Silver/Radiant Orange T9A4N0 Overviews The Autumn/Winter 2010 ASICS GEL EVOLUTION 5 Running Shoes offering a new colour-way and updated. These shoes provide high levels of support for runners requiring additional protection against severe overpronation. This is the fifth version of this motion control shoe. This is a 2E fitting shoe for those runners requiring a little extra room in their footwear. I.G.S - I.G.S.- (Impact Guidance System): Meeting the demands of all athletic activities, the I.G.S. (Impact Guidance System is a technical design philosophy that allows the foot to perform in a more natural manner. *NEW* Biomorphic Fit - Uses high-tech stretch materials to allow the shoe upper to move with the foot. This mean the foot encounters less friction and fabric bunching during specific moments of the gait cycle. *UPDATED* DuraSponge - A blown AHAR rubber compound for enhanced cushioning and durability in the forefoot. Duomax - A proprietary ASICS system consisting of two or more different density midsole materials, designed to help correct the degree and velocity of pronation. Space Trusstic - An advanced system that creates a pocket between the Trusstic System device and the midsole, allowing for greater midsole deformation and more efficient foot function. Forefoot ASICS GEL cushioning system - The silicone-based, GEL cushioning system in the forefoot reduces the loading forces that would normally be applied as the foot moves into propulsion. This reduces shear forces and along with flex grooves, enchances propulsion. Rearfoot ASICS GEL Cushioning System - When running around the tennis court the foot can typically experience forces of 3 to 5 times the player's body weight during heel strike. If you have flat feet, a wet image of the lowest of your foot would show a width over the toes that gently narrows down to the heal. The arch in your foot is whether non-existent or not very high off the ground. Normally the foot rolls from the heal to the toe with the weight toward the inside of the foot.
